Ziplining adventure in Puerto Rico

  • Travel from San Juan to zipline location
  • Walk through coastal plains and hike karst mountains
  • Experience 5 thrilling ziplines and hanging bridges
  • Return to hotel or city center

The Experience

The day starts with pickup from San Juan's city center or your hotel in a private vehicle. The 30-minute drive takes you through Puerto Rico's coastal plains to Campo Rico, where the ziplining begins. A professional guide meets you there and walks you through the terrain—northern coastal plains first, then a hike around the karst mountains and limestone formations that frame the whole landscape.

You'll clip into five ziplines, each professionally installed with double cables and pulleys. The shortest runs 500 feet; the longest stretches 1,000 feet and hangs 200 feet above ground, giving you views of the ocean, mountains, plantain fields and lagoons all at once. Between the ziplines, five hanging canopy bridges keep the momentum going—you're trekking 30 feet up in the trees, not on the ground. The whole ziplining section is the core of the experience, and it's built around what you do, not what you watch.

After the canopy work, the final zipline delivers you to a mojito bar where you can catch your breath and order a drink. Then the private vehicle picks you up again and drives you back to your hotel or the city center. The whole outing runs about three hours from start to finish.
