The experience

Toro Verde Adventure Park sits in the mountains of Orocovis and runs seven separate ziplines, each one strung between its own pair of platforms. A professional guide walks you through the setup and safety on each line: how to clip in, how the braking works, what to expect from the cable speed, which shifts with the wind. You clip, push off, and ride. The guide meets you at the landing platform and walks you back across the small bridges to the next departure point. The whole sequence takes around two and a half hours from start to finish.

The cables vary in length and angle, so the ride changes each time. Speed depends on wind conditions and your own weight, and the platform setup means you're not scrambling up a hillside between runs. You step off one platform and onto the next. Close-toed shoes are required, and you'll need to be at least 4 feet tall and weigh between 50 and 270 pounds to participate. The guide handles all the equipment checks and adjustments, so the only thing you're managing is the ride itself.

Arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start so the guide can go through safety and fit your harness. Guides speak English and Spanish. Souvenir photos are available to purchase during the activity. The park is wheelchair accessible, and service animals are welcome, though the zipline itself requires the physical ability to clip in, ride, and land safely.
