Zipline adventure in rainforest
- Pick up in Panama City
- Travel to rainforest
- Zipline on 5 lines over Gatun Lake
The Experience
The pickup happens in Panama City and takes you to the rainforest where the ziplines begin. You'll cross 5 separate lines that run 2 kilometers total, strung across the canopy above Gatun Lake. The route itself is the point—you're suspended over the water and the forest at once, moving between platforms rigged with certified safety equipment. A guide in English or Spanish walks you through the setup and stays with the group.
The 3.5-hour window covers the drive from the city, the safety briefing, and the zipline crossing itself. Bottled water is provided. If you want to add time on the ground, kayaking and horse riding are available as optional activities, though they're separate bookings. The activity suits all fitness levels, though it's not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.
Children from age 6 can participate. The certified equipment and guide mean you're not managing the rigging or the safety systems yourself—that's already arranged. You show up, get fitted, and move through the lines.
