The experience
What makes this jump different is the bridge itself. The 166-meter-wide steel suspension bridge spans the gorge above the Bhotekoshi River, and jumping from it into the wild is not the same as jumping from a tower or a building. The Last Resort is Nepal's first bungee jumping location, and it sits on top of a gorge near the Tibetan border. The whole day runs from hotel pickup through the jump and back to your accommodation, with lunch included and a certified guide who speaks English, Spanish, French, German or one of two other languages.
The drive takes three hours each way, so you leave early and return in the afternoon. The site organizes other activities too (rafting, canyoning, kayaking and swings), but the bungee jump is the main event. You'll need a valid passport (the operator requires the number, expiry and country at booking), and you should be in moderate physical condition for the jump itself. Snacks and alcoholic drinks are available to purchase on site.
What’s included

Is this one for you?The full day (three hours each way plus the jump itself) leaves no room for other major activities in Kathmandu or Pokhara on the same day, so book this when you can dedicate the whole outing to the jump alone.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Japanese.
How high is the bungee jump at The Last Resort?
The jump is 160 meters above the Bhotekoshi River, from a 166-meter-wide steel suspension bridge that spans the gorge.
What's included in the day, and what do I need to bring?
Hotel pickup and drop-off, round-trip shared transfer, lunch, and a certified professional guide are all included. Bring your valid passport (you'll need the number, expiry and country at booking), and wear clothes you're comfortable moving in.
How long does the whole experience take?
The full day is one day, with a three-hour drive each way from the city, so you'll leave early morning and return in the afternoon.
What's the Bhotekoshi River, and why does it matter for the jump?
The Bhotekoshi River runs through a gorge near the Tibetan border where The Last Resort is located. Jumping into the wild above a river gorge is a different experience from jumping off a tower or building, and it's what makes this site distinctive in Nepal.
Can I do other activities at The Last Resort on the same day?
The Last Resort organizes rafting, canyoning, kayaking and swings, but the bungee jump is the main activity for this booking. Other activities would need to be arranged separately.
