The experience
If you have a free afternoon or morning in Agadir and want to see Morocco beyond the resort strip, this tour strings together the quieter Atlantic coast in one arc. The route moves north through working fishing villages where the day's catch still sells at auction, past the surf breaks at Cape Ghir and Tamri, and into the dunes of Timlaline: 10 kilometers of sand that slope toward the ocean. You walk on the dunes (sandboarding is available for an extra fee, paid on site), and from there you can see the cliffs where the last colony of bald ibis, an endangered species, nests. The stops are short and scattered. The pace is unhurried.
The meal happens midway, at a Berber homestay in the hills. Couscous or tajine, cooked to order, arrives with tea ceremony and time to rest before the final leg south to Imesouane's fishing port. The whole day runs seven to eight hours from pickup in Agadir to drop-off, with your own driver and guide who speaks English, French or German. Transportation and the meal are included. Any extras like sandboard rental or quad bikes cost extra on the day.

Is this one for you?Seven to eight hours means you leave early and return by late afternoon, so the tour fits a full day but leaves the evening free. If you want to explore the coast without renting a car or navigating on your own, the private guide and set itinerary handle the route. If you need flexibility to linger at one stop or skip another, a fixed group tour would suit you better.
