3h

Step-by-step itinerary

Explore Agadir's cultural highlights

  • Visit Kasbah Agadir Oufella ruins
  • Tour Nat Fabrica Argan Cooperative
  • See Mohammed V Mosque architecture
  • Shop at Souk El Had market
  • Explore La Medina Agadir complex

The Experience

Your guide picks you up from your hotel and drives you to Kasbah Agadir Oufella, a 16th-century defensive structure perched on a high hill above the city. From there you get panoramic views of Agadir and the Atlantic Ocean, and the guide walks you through the history—what the Kasbah was before the 1960 earthquake and how the city rebuilt itself afterward. The architecture itself shows traditional Moroccan craftsmanship in the defensive walls and layout.

Next is a stop at Nat Fabrica Argan Cooperative, where you see how argan oil is made from start to finish: cracking the nuts, pressing the oil, and the range of cosmetic and culinary products that come from it. The cooperative is run by women and plays a real role in the local economy. You'll also pass Mohammed V Mosque, which stands out in the city skyline with its tall minaret and blends Moroccan and Andalusian architectural styles.

The tour ends at Souk El Had, one of the largest traditional markets in Agadir. Hundreds of shops sell spices, traditional crafts, clothing, natural products and souvenirs. If you're visiting on a Monday when Souk El Had closes, your guide takes you to Souk Kasbah Souss instead. The vehicle is air-conditioned throughout, and you have bottled water and internet access during the drive. Stops at banks or pharmacies can be arranged if you need them, at no extra cost.

La Medina Agadir—a complex with traditional Moroccan architecture, cultural shows and family activities—is optional. Entry starts at 40 MAD per adult and is paid directly on-site, not included in your tour price.
