The Experience
The tour starts at the Agadir Corniche and beach, where you pass along the waterfront before moving inland. A 10-minute walk takes you up to the Kasbah Ruins, the remnants of Agadir before the 1960 earthquake destroyed the old city. From that vantage point you get a panoramic view of how the modern city was rebuilt below. The great mosque comes next—a stop to photograph and take in its scale—then the group moves to the Argan Palace, a women's cooperative where you learn how argan oil is produced from the tree to the bottle.
The final stretch is free time at the city's biggest souk, where you can browse or shop without a guide pushing the pace. The vehicle stays air-conditioned throughout, and WiFi is available on board if you need it. A live guide travels with the group and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, or one of several other languages depending on which option you book.

What exactly is the Kasbah Ruins and why is it worth the walk up?
The Agadir Kasbah Ruins are the fortified remains of the city before the 1960 earthquake leveled it. The walk up gives you the highest panoramic view of modern Agadir rebuilt on the coast below, so you see both the old footprint and the new city at once.
Can I book this tour if I'm arriving at the cruise port instead of a hotel?
Yes—one of the five purchase options is "City tour - from port," which includes pickup at the port terminal instead of a hotel. The rest of the tour and inclusions stay the same.
What happens at the Argan Palace and how long do you spend there?
The Argan Palace is a women's association where you learn the history of the argan tree and how argan oil is made and processed. It's one of several stops built into the three-hour tour, so you get an introduction to the process without a lengthy workshop.
Is there time to shop, or is this tour all guided stops?
The tour ends with free time at Agadir's largest souk, so you have unguided time to browse and shop at your own pace after the structured stops.
What languages does the guide speak?
The guide speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and several other languages—you choose your language when you select your purchase option at checkout.
