The Experience

The day starts with a safety briefing and liability waiver, then splits into three distinct activities. You ride a 4x4 ATV through the Maya jungle (either solo if you're 18 or older, or paired with an adult if you're 16 or up) with ATV insurance and a conservation fee built into the price. After the ride, you move to the zipline circuit: three lines and one interactive bridge strung through the canopy, where you clip in and move across the treetops. The cenote comes last: a 100% natural freshwater pool where you can jump from a platform or wade in to cool off. Bilingual guides manage the whole sequence and enforce safety protocols based on international standards.

Lunch and tequila tasting happen at Hacienda Reserva Palacios, a separate stop included in the package. You get regional tacos and a taste of local tequila without paying extra. Round-trip transport from your hotel or a meeting point is included. The van is shared, not private, and seats are standard size. Depending on where you're staying (Cancun, Riviera Maya or Tulum) the drive to the ecopark runs between 30 and 90 minutes. Cameras and cell phones are not permitted during the activities themselves, a safety rule enforced across all three stations. A liability waiver is mandatory before you start.

Physical fitness matters here: the operator recommends a moderate level, and certain conditions (pregnancy, spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health) make participation unsafe. Minimum height is 1 metre (3.28 ft). Maximum weight on the ziplines is 130 kg (286 lb) and maximum waist size is 1.24 m (49 in). Children as young as 4 can attend if accompanied by an adult. Can I ride an ATV solo, or do I need an adult with me?

Solo ATV riders must be 18 or older. If you're 16 or 17, you can ride paired with an adult on the same machine. Children under 16 cannot operate an ATV but can still zipline and swim in the cenote.
