The Experience

You get picked up from your hotel or a nearby meeting point and head out to the Yucatán jungle, leaving the resort zone behind. The drive takes you to an international award-winning eco-adventure park tucked into the dense jungle along the Ruta de los Cenotes. Once there, the day splits into five separate challenges: a 30-minute ATV ride over muddy, dusty and bumpy roads designed to test your nerve; three ziplines strung through the jungle canopy; a skyboard activity that demands balance; a swim in a crystal-clear cenote hidden in the middle of the forest; and a tequila tasting led by a tequila master at a Colonial Hacienda, followed by a regional snack.

The ATV ride is the anchor—you drive yourself on a shared or solo machine depending on which option you book. Riders must be at least 16 to drive a shared ATV (with a paid adult) or 18 for a solo machine; children as young as 4 can ride along with a paid adult. The ziplines come next, and the maximum weight limit is 120 kg (265 lb), with a maximum waist size of 1.24 m (49 in). The skyboard tests your footing, and the cenote swim happens in fresh, clean water surrounded by jungle. ATV insurance is included, and the park enforces international safety standards—personal cameras and electronic devices are not permitted during the activities themselves.

The order of activities can shift based on operational needs, and you're welcome to sit out any of them if you prefer. The whole experience is 4 hours of activities, though travel time from your location to the park is separate and can vary with traffic. If you choose the meeting-point option instead of hotel pickup, you'll meet the transportation at Hotel Ibis Cancun (Downtown Cancun) at the scheduled time. Round-trip transportation from most Cancun and Riviera Maya hotels is included, along with park entrance, the tequila tasting, the regional snack, and ATV insurance. Locker rental, beverages beyond what's provided, gratuities, and photo packages are separate.

A shared ATV is driven by one rider with a passenger, and requires a minimum age of 16 to drive (with a paid adult accompanying). A solo ATV is for one rider only and requires a minimum age of 18. Both machines handle the same jungle trails, and the rest of the day—ziplines, skyboard, cenote swim and tequila tasting—is identical.

Can I bring my phone or camera to take photos during the activities?

Personal cameras and electronic devices are not permitted during the activities themselves, based on international safety standards. You'll need to rely on memory or ask about the photo package option, which is available separately.
