The experience

You board the boat at San Francisco beach, get fitted with safety harness and life jacket, and receive instructions before launch. Once hooked in, the boat accelerates and you rise to about 250 meters, roughly 820 feet, where you stay for the full 15 minutes. The boat maintains speed while you drift, giving you an unbroken view of the water and the breeze without the noise of an aircraft. When the time is up, the boat slows and you descend back onto the platform, where crew help you out of the harness.

After landing, you return to San Francisco beach with access to the pool, bathrooms, showers and a locker for your belongings. Wi-Fi is available if you want to upload photos or messages during your time there. If you want a professional record of the flight, photography and video service costs extra at checkout.
