The Money Bar Day Pass gives you guided snorkeling from the beach at Cozumel's Money Bar, positioned directly in front of the Dzul Ha and Paraíso reefs, plus a full day of beach access with lounge chairs, umbrellas and lunch included. A live guide leads the snorkel in English or Spanish; the reef sits close enough to shore that you walk in rather than boat out. Lunch is fajitas, tacos or a burger with one non-alcoholic drink; you can add alcoholic beverages at checkout.

The Experience

The Money Bar sits on Cozumel's best snorkeling stretch accessible from the sand. You get a guided snorkel tour of the coral formations and marine life right in front of the beach—no charter boat, no long ride out. The snorkeling runs 45 minutes with a live guide who speaks English and Spanish, so you move through the reef with someone who knows what lives there and where to look. Bring a minimum age of 5 for the water; the equipment is provided.

After you come back to shore, the day is yours. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are set up for you (subject to availability), and the bathrooms are air-conditioned. Lunch arrives as fajitas, tacos—beef, chicken, fish or vegetarian—a cheese burger, and one complimentary non-alcoholic drink. You can order alcoholic beverages separately. The Caribbean stretches in front of you the whole time.

The Money Bar is wheelchair accessible and sits near public transportation options if you're coming from elsewhere in Cozumel. Infants and small children can come in a pram or stroller, and specialized infant seats are available. The snorkeling itself is not suitable for travelers with heart or lung problems, diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, or pregnancy—but the day pass still works if someone in your group wants to stay on the beach while others are in the water.
