The experience

You get picked up from your Negril hotel 20–30 minutes before the activity starts and driven to 7 Mile Beach, where the boat and briefing wait. Depending on which combo you book, you'll either start with parasailing or head straight to the water. The parasailing rig lifts you 600 feet above the Caribbean while a speedboat pulls you across the open sea: the beachfront and reef drop away below. Once you're back on the boat, the snorkeling begins: a local guide takes you to coral formations where you can feed the fish and watch them swarm close enough for photos. Fins and masks are provided, and the guide points out the species and the reef structure as you move through.

If you choose the glass-bottom boat option instead of snorkeling, you stay dry and watch the same marine life from inside the hull: corals, fish and the seafloor visible through the transparent floor. All three activities (parasail, snorkel, glass boat) can be mixed into different package combinations, so you pick the mix that appeals to you at checkout. The whole outing wraps up at the same beach, and you're returned to your hotel when it's done.
