Snorkel the Negril reef and the limestone caves off the coast with a live guide, then cruise to Rick's Cafe to watch the sunset and jump off the cliffs if you want. The boat includes an open bar with beer, rum punch, sodas, juice and water; snorkeling equipment; and pickup from your beach. The whole outing runs three hours.
The Experience
Captain Jace picks you up at the beach and heads straight to the reef. You'll snorkel among the coral and the creatures living in it—the guide points out what you're seeing and explains the habitat as you move through the water. After the reef, the boat takes you to the famous Negril caves, limestone formations that drop into the sea where pirates once anchored. You snorkel there too, moving through the water with the same gear and the same guide narration.
Once you're back on the boat, the open bar opens: beer, rum punch, sodas, juice and water flow for the rest of the afternoon. Music plays. The boat cruises toward Rick's Cafe, a clifftop bar on the Negril coast where the sunset happens. You can stay on the boat and watch from the water, or get off and join the crowd on the deck—people-watching, drinking, and if you're game, jumping off the cliff into the sea below. The whole thing, including the gear and the drinks and the ride back, takes about three hours.
