The experience
The day starts with pickup from your Montego Bay hotel in an air-conditioned van. During the drive to Negril, your guide shares the history of Jamaica and the towns you pass through. Once you reach Seven Mile Beach, a boat takes you out to Booby Cay Island, where lunch waits: lobster (seasonal availability), rum punch, and bottled water. You eat on the island and have time to swim or relax before heading back to the mainland.
After returning to Seven Mile Beach, the tour shifts into a more open afternoon. You can walk the beach itself, then move between several local bars for drinks: Margaritaville and others dot the strip, though drinks there are on your own tab. The West End of Negril, with its rocky coastline and laid-back vibe, is also part of the route. The day closes at Rick's Café, a clifftop spot where you watch the sunset. If you want, you can watch cliff divers jump into the water below.
Transportation, the lobster lunch with its two drinks, all fees and taxes, and the guide are all included. Children from age 1 are welcome, and infants sit on an adult's lap. The pace is leisurely. You're not rushing between sites, and the afternoon gives you room to linger where you want.
