The experience
What does it take to make pizza and tiramisu the way an Italian family does? A Cesarina in Verona will show you. You'll work in her home kitchen for three hours, learning how Italian nonnas prepared these dishes at home, not restaurant versions, but the real family recipes. You get an official Le Cesarine apron, and you'll handle the dough, layer the tiramisu, and work through each step with hands-on instruction from someone who cooks this way every day.
Once you've finished cooking, you sit down to eat what you've made. The class includes local wine, water and coffee to go with your pizza and tiramisu. This is a private class, so it's just you (and whoever you bring) with your host: no strangers, no set group size. Families with children of all ages can join. Le Cesarine has been running these home cooking experiences across more than 120 Italian cities since the network began. The hosts open their own homes to teach travelers their way of cooking.
The class runs in English or Italian depending on what you book. Public transportation options are available near the home, so you can reach it without a car if that suits your day in Verona.
