Private Pizza & Tiramisu Class in Parma: Learn to cook at home
Cook two Italian classics in a home kitchen, not a classroom
A private hands-on cooking class in Parma where you learn to make pizza and tiramisu from a local home cook in her own kitchen, then eat what you've prepared with wine. The class runs three hours and suits families with children of any age. Instruction is in English or Italian.
The Experience
You'll arrive at a Cesarina's home in Parma: a carefully selected local cook who opens her kitchen to teach you how Italian families actually make pizza and tiramisu. This is not a staged demo: you're working alongside her, learning the techniques her own family has used, and making the dough and filling with your hands. The class runs three hours and covers both dishes from scratch, so you leave knowing how to do this at home.
Once you've finished cooking, you sit down to eat what you've made for lunch or dinner. A selection of local wine is included, along with water and coffee. You'll taste the pizza and tiramisu you just built, which is the point. You get to see how it turns out and eat it while it's fresh. Families with children of all ages join these classes. Kids often find the hands-on part more engaging than a restaurant meal.
Le Cesarine is Italy's oldest network of home cooks, operating in more than 120 cities. The hosts are passionate about sharing their cooking, and the experience is built around their own family recipes and the way they actually cook at home, not a standardized curriculum. You'll receive an official Le Cesarine apron to take home as a reminder of the class.
