The experience
How do you actually make fresh pasta without a machine? This workshop answers that question in 90 minutes. A local chef shows you how to build the perfect dough, then walks you through shaping orecchiette (the ear-shaped pasta that defines Apulian cooking) by hand. You work with simple ingredients and your own hands, the way it's been done in Puglia for generations. At the end, you pack up your tray of fresh pasta to take home and cook.
The class starts with a fresh aperitif made from local, zero-kilometer products: a taste of what the region grows. Water, snacks, coffee and tea are included throughout. The workshop is built for couples or small groups, not solo travelers, so you're learning alongside one or two other people, not a crowd. Children from age 4 can join. The schedule is flexible, so you can book a time that fits the rest of your day in Taranto.
