The experience
If you've just landed or have a free afternoon, this tour packs the island's signature coastal stops into one day without needing to arrange transport yourself. The route starts at Kuta Beach, where you have time to swim or watch the surfers. From there the guide takes you to Nusa Dua's white sand and clear water for snorkeling, with Tanjung Benoa Beach a short drive away if you want to add jet-skiing, fly-boarding or banana boat rides (those cost extra). Padang Padang Beach, the filming location from "Eat, Pray, Love," is a quick stop on the way south.
The day builds toward Uluwatu Temple, perched on sea cliffs high above the water. You arrive as the sun starts to drop and watch the Kecak and fire dance performed on the clifftop as the light fades: the performers' chanting and the flames carry across the rocks while the horizon turns gold. After the show, you head to Jimbaran Bay for a seafood barbecue dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants (you pay for the meal separately), then return to your hotel. The whole day runs 7 to 9 hours depending on how long you linger at each beach.
Your guide speaks English and travels with you the entire time in a private vehicle, so the pace is yours to set. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, which means no negotiating taxis or finding your way back after dark.
Is this one for you?Book this private tour if you're traveling as a couple or small family and want to set your own pace across multiple beaches and temples rather than follow a group schedule.

Top questions
Can I do water sports like jet-skiing or snorkeling on this tour?
Jet-skiing, fly-boarding, banana boat rides, diving and snorkeling are available at Tanjung Benoa Beach, a five-minute drive from Nusa Dua, but they cost extra and are optional. Snorkeling gear is not provided, so bring your own or rent it there.
What is Padang Padang Beach and why do we stop there?
Padang Padang Beach is a small cove famous as a filming location in "Eat, Pray, Love." It's a short stop on the way to Uluwatu, with steep cliff-side steps leading down to the sand and plenty of spots for photos, especially at sunset.
How does the Kecak dance work and when do I see it?
The Kecak and fire dance is performed at Uluwatu Temple as the sun sets, with performers chanting and dancing around flames silhouetted against the sea cliffs and the darkening sky. You watch from the temple grounds. The performance is included in the tour, though the dance ticket itself is not.
Is dinner at Jimbaran Bay included in the price?
Dinner is not included. You pay separately at one of the waterfront seafood restaurants in Jimbaran Bay. The tour gets you there and back to your hotel, so you can choose where and what to eat.
What time does the tour start and end?
The tour is 7 to 9 hours total and includes hotel pickup from the Seminyak, Kuta or Ubud areas, so the start time depends on where you're staying. Your guide will confirm the pickup time when you book.
