Eight to ten hours gives you room to move between Ubud's signature stops without rushing. You start at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, where nearly 900 Bali long-tail macaques live among the lush forest, river canyon and the monkeys' own temple. The guide walks with you through the iconic dragon bridge and explains how the animals behave in their real habitat. From there you head to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, set 600 meters above sea level on a cliff.
