The experience

You get picked up from your hotel and driven to the Ubud Monkey Forest, a natural sanctuary where hundreds of long-tailed macaques live among lush forest and ancient temple grounds. The guide leads you through the site, explaining the cultural and wildlife significance while you move through the canopy. From there, the route takes you to the Jungle Swing (one of Bali's most recognizable photo stops), where you can ride over rice fields and river valleys if you want to, or watch from the platform. The driver then heads to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where the layered green fields show the traditional subak irrigation system that has shaped Balinese agriculture for centuries.

Lunch happens at a local restaurant surrounded by rice paddies and rural atmosphere, giving you a quiet moment to rest before the afternoon sites.
