The Experience

Four stops across 10 hours, starting at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud — a forest complex home to over 700 long-tailed macaques. You walk the pathways among the monkeys, past ancient temples and stone sculptures nestled in the trees. From there the tour moves to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where the paddies cascade down the hillside in green steps. The traditional irrigation system called subak has shaped farming here for generations, and the vantage points let you photograph the full panorama. If you add the Ubud Jungle Swing to your booking, you get time on one of the swings suspended above the coconut trees and jungle below.

Tirta Empul Temple comes next — a 10th-century water temple built around a holy spring. The spring water is believed to have purifying properties, and you can watch locals perform ritual bathing in the pools, or participate in the purification ceremony yourself to experience how the ritual works. The temple's stone carvings and shrines sit among lush greenery, and the whole complex carries the weight of centuries of spiritual practice. The final stop is Kanto Lampo Waterfall, a short walk from the car park. Water cascades down stepped rock formations in a jungle setting, and it is where the day ends — a place to cool off and sit with the landscape before heading back.

A live English-speaking guide travels with you the whole way in an air-conditioned vehicle. Entry tickets to each site are optional: you choose which ones to buy at checkout, so you pay only for the places you want to enter. Bottled water is included.
