Quad Bike ATV and White Water Rafting in Ubud

You operate both the bike and the paddle yourself, not watching from a seat.

A combined activity in Ubud where you ride a 250cc quad bike ATV through terrain around villages and rice fields for about an hour, then paddle a raft down the Ayung River with your group for two hours, guided by instructors at each stage. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from Nusa Dua, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu, Denpasar, Sanur and Jimbaran. Lunch and shower facilities follow the rafting. Children from age 8 can join as ATV passengers and participate in rafting.

The experience

The quad bike leg starts from the outskirts of Ubud, where you'll ride a four-wheeled 250cc ATV through mud, rice fields, caves and village paths for roughly an hour over a 9km track. An instructor guides you through the terrain challenges. Children aged 8 to 11 ride as passengers while adults operate the bikes. After the riding portion, you move to the Ayung River for the rafting section.

White water rafting on the Ayung River takes about two hours, with your group working together to paddle against the current. Experienced rafting instructors lead you to the finish point. The raft holds a maximum of five or six people, so during high season you may wait your turn. Once both activities are complete, you'll have access to shower facilities, a locker room and a rest area before the driver takes you back to your hotel.

The full day runs roughly eight hours from pickup to drop-off. Hotel collection happens from multiple zones across Bali (Ubud, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu, Denpasar and Sanur), though travelers from Uluwatu may need one to two hours' drive to reach the meeting point. Lunch and mineral water are provided, and all ATV and rafting equipment is supplied.
