Bali rafting and ATV activity combining two separate adventures in one day: an hour on a quad bike through dense jungle, mud terrain and the Gorilla Tunnel, followed by whitewater rafting on Bali's rivers with an expert guide. Lunch and all safety gear are included. Pickup is available from Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Sanur and other major resort areas. You choose between the combined package, ATV only or rafting only, with or without transfer.

The experience

You start on an ATV quad bike, riding through jungle and navigating the Gorilla Tunnel (a carved rock passage unique to this route) before tackling mud trails for roughly an hour. The bike is built for off-road terrain, and you control it yourself. After the ride, you break for lunch and a chance to cool down in the countryside for about 30 minutes, then change and head to the river.

The rafting half follows, where an English-speaking guide leads you through Bali's river rapids. You're in the water handling the paddle, reading the current and working with other paddlers to navigate the whitewater. The guide manages the boat and calls the moves. The river does the rest. Boots, helmet and all safety equipment come with you, and insurance is covered.

Pickup is included if you book the transfer option and depart from Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Canggu, Sanur, Jimbaran or Nusa Dua. A welcome drink waits at the start. Locker, towel, changing room and shower facilities are available before and after. You'll need a moderate level of fitness for both activities. The operator does not recommend this for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy or cardiovascular concerns.
