ATV riding in Ubud is a 90-minute quad bike ride through jungle, a former Dutch war tunnel, waterfall, river and rice fields, with private hotel transfer, professional guide, lunch and shower facilities included. You operate the bike yourself on the longest track in Bali. The ride departs from your hotel with a safety briefing and equipment provided.

The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to the location (around an hour from Kuta area). On arrival you get a welcome drink, sign the insurance paperwork, and receive your helmet and rubber boots. The guide gives you an introduction and a chance to try the ATV in a practice area before the ride begins.

The 90-minute ride itself passes through a 500-meter tunnel that dates to the Dutch colonial era, then a waterfall, river crossing, rice fields and forest area, finishing with a wet fun attraction. You're riding the quad bike yourself the whole way, not watching from a vehicle. The track is the longest ATV route in Bali and the pace depends on how fast you choose to ride.

After the ride you shower and change, then have lunch at the restaurant before the drive back to your hotel. The whole outing runs around three and a half hours from pickup to drop-off. A professional guide in English rides with you and handles the route. Insurance and all safety gear are included in the price.
