The experience
The day splits into two parts: water first, then land. You start with a snorkeling trip to three bays on Nusa Penida's east side. Manta Bay is where manta rays appear when conditions allow. Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay hold colorful coral reefs and small tropical fish. The private snorkeling boat and all equipment are provided, and an experienced local guide leads the underwater stops. Lunch happens between the water and the cliffs.
After snorkeling, the private car takes you to the west side of the island. Kelingking Beach is the iconic cliff: a steep drop with a distinctive shape that dominates the view. Broken Beach (also called Pasih Uug) has a massive hole in the rock face at the cliff edge where you can walk and photograph. Angel's Billabong is a natural pool connected to the Indian Ocean, and the guide brings you to each one so you can capture the moment with the landscape behind you. The pace is yours. There are no crowds or set timing between stops.
You choose your departure point at checkout: either hotel pickup from the Bali area or a meeting at Sanur Port. The tour runs 10 to 12 hours total. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The activity is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or pregnancy. Children from age 1 are welcome.
Is this one for you?Choose hotel pickup if you want to sleep in and avoid an early drive to the port. Sanur Port works if you're already on that side of Bali or prefer to start the day on the water. Either way, the private guide and car mean you move at your own pace without waiting for other groups or sticking to a fixed schedule between snorkeling and the coastal stops.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 9 years); Infant (1 to 2 years): free.
What are the chances of seeing manta rays when I snorkel at Manta Bay?
Manta rays appear at Manta Bay when conditions allow, but sightings are not guaranteed. The guide will take you to the bay and you'll snorkel among coral reefs and tropical fish regardless. The manta rays are a bonus if the ocean cooperates that day.
How much time do I actually spend in the water snorkeling?
The itinerary includes snorkeling stops at three bays (Manta Bay, Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay), but the exact time in the water depends on your own pace and the guide's assessment of conditions. The full day runs 10 to 12 hours, with snorkeling in the morning and the coastal sites visited after lunch.
What is Kelingking Beach actually like when I get there?
Kelingking Beach is an iconic cliff on Nusa Penida's west side with a distinctive shape that dominates the landscape. You visit it with your guide to photograph and take in the view. It is a landmark stop rather than a swimming beach.
Do I need my own snorkeling gear or is it provided?
All snorkeling equipment is included in the tour, so you don't need to bring your own. The private boat carries the gear and your guide will help you with the setup at each bay.
Can I book this tour if I'm staying at a hotel in Bali, or do I have to meet at Sanur Port?
You choose at checkout: hotel pickup from anywhere in the Bali area or a meeting point at Sanur Port. Both options are available, so you pick whichever works for your accommodation.
