The experience
Bali's roads move fast and parking is a puzzle. This tour hands both to an expert driver so you can focus on where to go, not how to get there. You choose the duration: 6 hours covers the south and central areas around Ubud and Denpasar; 8 hours adds more of Gianyar and Bangli; 10 hours reaches into the east toward Karangasem and the mountain regions. The driver collects you from your hotel or villa and either follows a plan you've made or helps you build one on the spot, adjusting for traffic and how long you want to linger at each stop.
The attractions span everything from the Tegalalang and Jatiluwih rice terraces (where you can walk among the paddies and watch farmers at work) to Tirta Empul Temple with its holy spring water and ritual bathing pools, and Uluwatu Temple perched on the cliffs. The east side holds Tirta Gangga Water Garden, a maze of pools and fountains built in 1948, and Ujung Water Palace with its three large pools and traditional Balinese architecture. Waterfalls, jungle swings, and viewpoints like Wanagiri Hills and the Gates of Heaven (Lempuyang Temple, over 1,700 stairs) are options too. Your driver knows the sites and can steer you toward what fits your pace and interests.
The car is air-conditioned and comes with an English-speaking driver, mineral water, and all parking fees covered. If you want to venture beyond your chosen region's coverage area, there's an additional charge. The operator asks that you mention your planned itinerary in the booking remarks so they can prepare accordingly. Early starts (around 4 or 5 am) work best for the mountain and east tours to beat crowds and heat.
Is this one for you?Pick the 6-hour option if you want to stay close to Ubud and the south; choose 8 hours to add the mountain foothills and Bangli; go for 10 hours if you're heading east to the water palaces and temples near Karangasem or planning a full loop across multiple regions. Mention your preferred stops when you book so the driver can plan the route and timing to fit what you want to see.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the difference between the 6, 8, and 10 hour options?
The 6-hour tour covers south Bali and Ubud; the 8-hour option adds Gianyar and Bangli; the 10-hour tour reaches into the east toward Karangasem, the mountain regions, and lets you visit 4 to 6 sites depending on time spent at each and traffic conditions.
Can I change my mind about where to go once the tour starts?
Yes. You can follow a plan you've made beforehand or ask your driver to suggest stops that match your interests and adjust the route as you go, though the coverage area depends on which duration you've booked.
What is Tirta Empul Temple?
Tirta Empul is a temple compound built around a holy spring, where Balinese Hindus come for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring that flows regularly, and you can watch locals performing ritual blessings in the bathing pools.
Does the tour include lunch or entrance fees?
No. Lunch and entrance fees to temples and attractions are not included, so you can choose where and what to eat and which sites to enter based on your interests.
Where will the driver pick me up?
The driver collects you from your hotel or villa in Seminyak, Ubud, Canggu, Kuta, Legian, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Sanur, or other locations across south and central Bali, depending on your chosen tour duration and region.
What happens if I want to stay longer than my booked time?
If your tour runs past the booked duration, there's an overtime charge of USD $5 per hour, and the operator notes that time may also be affected by local traffic conditions.
