The experience
How do you see three lakeside towns and actually spend time in them, instead of rushing between photo stops? This tour builds the day around your interests. You start early with breakfast at an iconic restaurant in Tecpan, then drive to Lake Atitlan for a viewpoint stop before heading into the towns themselves. The route uses both vehicle and boat, so you move between places without driving the same road twice.
Panajachel comes first: a walk down Santander Street, the main commercial strip. Then a boat ride takes you to San Juan La Laguna, where a community guide teaches about weaving, cacao, bees and coffee production. This is not a museum visit but a working introduction to what people actually do there. Another boat ride brings you to San Pedro La Laguna, the largest town on the lake, where the best lunch spots are clustered and the streets fill with color. The whole day runs 12 hours, but because it is private, you decide how much time each place gets. If one town holds you, you stay. If you want to skip a stop or add time at the viewpoint, that is yours to arrange with the guide.
The vehicle is air-conditioned and carries WiFi and bottled water for the full day. A live guide in English or Spanish travels with you. Pickup from your accommodation is included in the price.

Yes. Ticket types: Infant (under 4).
Can I skip one of the towns or spend more time in one place?
Yes. Because this is a private tour, you set the itinerary. If you want to stay longer in San Juan La Laguna or skip Panajachel, you can arrange that with your guide before the day starts or as you go.
What does the community guide teach about in San Juan La Laguna?
The community guide covers weaving, cacao, bees and coffee: the main crafts and crops of the town. This is a working tour, not a lecture. You learn by seeing what people actually make and grow.
