The experience

The session starts with a briefing on posing tips, then you're guided into the clear kayak and anchored in about 3–4 feet of water. The photographer stands nearby, directing when to shift poses and how to frame yourself for the drone camera overhead. Over roughly 30 minutes, you move through a series of different positions while the drone captures 50+ shots and optional video. The water is shallow enough that you stay visible through the kayak's transparent hull, and the photographer's real-time feedback means you're not guessing what works.

Once you're pulled back out, you review the unedited photos on the spot. All shots land in your Dropbox before the end of the day. You then pick which ones you want professionally edited (color, contrast, cropping, the full treatment), and those return to you within 3–5 business days. The couple's option books two kayaks side by side. The solo shoot is you alone in the water.

How does the couple's shoot work?

Two kayaks are positioned side by side in the shallow water, and the drone captures both of you together. You each receive the full set of 50+ unedited photos, and you can select your own favorites for editing.
