The Experience

“You ever ridden a Dutch bike before?” our guide Marc grinned as he handed me the handlebars near Place Vendôme. I hadn’t, honestly. By the end, rolling back through Paris’s arrondissements with everyone chatting about their favorite stop, it felt less like a tour and more like borrowing someone else’s city for an afternoon. I still think about that golden light on Pont Alexandre III sometimes—you know?
