The expedition starts with a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Jinka, where you visit an Ari village for your first portrait session and shoot farmland at sunset. From there the itinerary moves through Mago National Park to photograph Mursi women, then drives to Turmi in Hamar territory. You spend two days in the Hamar region: one morning doing lifestyle photography in the village, potentially witnessing a bull-jumping ceremony if it falls during your visit, and golden hour shooting in Turmi. On day four you cross the Omo River to the Karo people, photograph their painted bodies and dramatic landscape, then return to Turmi for a local market experience.
