PADI Bubblemaker is an introductory scuba class in Hurghada for children aged 8 and up, taught by a live instructor in shallow water (under 2 meters deep) with equipment sized to fit young divers. The experience

Hurghada's shallow Red Sea waters are where kids get their first taste of scuba without the deep-water pressure. A PADI instructor walks each child through the basics: how to put on and adjust the gear, how to clear water from the mask and regulator, and how to breathe calmly underwater. The equipment is sized for young divers so nothing feels oversized or uncomfortable. All of this happens in water shallower than 2 meters, which means the instructor stays close and the child stays in control.

The program runs as a single session, and the instructor watches each child through every step. There's no rushing, no group pressure. Kids learn the do's and don'ts of breathing underwater and what their body will feel like when they're submerged. By the end, they've earned a PADI Bubblemaker certification, which is the official record that they've completed the introduction. Pickup from your hotel in Hurghada, Sahl Hashish or Makadi is included, so you don't arrange transport separately.

A moderate level of physical fitness is needed for the activity. The class is not suitable for children with spinal injuries, cardiovascular conditions, or any pregnancy-related concerns. Age 8 is the minimum. There's no upper age limit stated. The instructor is a live professional who speaks your language (English, French, German, Czech or one of several others), so instructions are clear and questions get answered on the spot.
