The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Hurghada hotel and a transfer to the marina. Your instructor meets you there and walks through the equipment and safety basics. Nothing complicated, just what you need to feel ready. Once on the boat, you head into the Red Sea toward the first dive site, chosen for calm conditions and easy entry. With your instructor guiding you step by step, you descend into shallow water, get used to breathing through the regulator, and explore the reef at a pace that feels comfortable. The whole thing is designed so you're not rushed.

After the first dive, there's time to recover on board. Lunch is served, an open buffet, and if you'd rather snorkel or just sit and watch the water, that works too. The boat then moves to a second site, where you complete your second guided dive with more confidence and a better sense of what's around you. The Red Sea's clear water and vibrant marine life make it an ideal place for a first dive, and the professional team keeps the whole experience relaxed and supportive.

The trip runs eight hours total, including the boat ride, both dives, lunch and the transfer back to your hotel. Full scuba equipment is provided, along with unlimited water, soft drinks and hot beverages on board. What do I need to know before my first scuba dive in Hurghada?

No certification is required: the instructor teaches you the basics on the day and stays with you throughout both dives. You'll start in shallow water to get comfortable breathing underwater, then move to slightly deeper reef sites. The Red Sea's calm conditions and clear water make it an ideal place to learn.

What happens between the two dives?

You return to the boat, where lunch is served as an open buffet. You can rest, eat, swim, or snorkel while other divers are in the water. The break gives you time to recover and talk through what you saw before heading to the second site.

Is the equipment included, or do I need to bring my own?

Full scuba diving equipment is included: wetsuit, tank, regulator, fins, mask and all the rest. You don't need to bring anything except a swimsuit and a towel.

Does the price include the transfer from my hotel?

Hotel pickup and drop-off in Hurghada are included. If you're staying in Makadi, El Gouna or Safaga, a round-trip transfer is available for 10 EUR per person, added at checkout.

Can my family come if they don't want to dive?

Yes, the trip is flexible for mixed groups. Non-divers can snorkel or relax on the boat while others are underwater, and everyone shares the lunch and the boat ride.

How long is the whole trip?
