The experience

Dolphin House sits in the Red Sea off Hurghada, and the trip starts with pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and a transfer to the marina. Once onboard, the crew walks through the day's plan. You'll get high-quality snorkeling gear and the guidance of professional snorkelers who know where the dolphins move and how to approach them safely. The boat makes two dedicated snorkeling stops, and between them you can rest on deck, drink from the unlimited soft drinks supply, or watch the water.

Swimming and snorkeling with dolphins here are restricted to experienced swimmers: the operator screens for this before departure. When conditions align and dolphins are present, you enter the water in small groups with a guide. The Red Sea reefs around Dolphin House hold other marine life too, so the second stop often brings encounters beyond dolphins alone. Lunch is prepared fresh onboard and served while you're still on the water.

The return journey takes you back to the marina and then to your hotel. The whole outing, pickup to drop-off, runs roughly seven hours. National park fees of €5 are payable in cash on the day. Round-trip transfers from Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, El-Gouna, Soma Bay or Safaga carry an additional charge depending on which pickup zone you select at checkout.
