The Experience
The boat leaves Hurghada port in the early morning after pickup from your hotel. You'll dive two different sites during the day—one shallow reef suitable for building confidence, another deeper area with walls for divers with more experience. Each dive runs about 20 minutes, with time between to rest, eat and talk with other divers on deck. The instructor goes through the specifics of each site before you enter the water, so you know what to expect below.
Diving equipment is provided and fitted to you before the first descent. An experienced guide stays with your group underwater and points out the fish species and coral formations as you move through the site. Between dives, hot and soft drinks keep you comfortable on deck. Lunch is served onboard as a buffet, so you eat without leaving the boat.
The full outing runs 8 hours from pickup to drop-off. After the second dive, the boat returns to Hurghada port and you're driven back to your hotel. No diving certification is required for the intro dives offered here—the instructor handles the briefing and stays close throughout.
