The Experience

The boat pushes off from Hurghada's coast and heads toward the Dolphin House, a protected stretch of the Red Sea where dolphins move through their own territory without handlers or barriers. You're in the water within an hour, mask and snorkel already on, watching the reef drop away beneath you in layers of color — brain coral the size of boulders, schools of parrotfish that turn and scatter when you drift too close. The guide stays with the group, pointing out what's worth looking at and keeping the pace steady so nobody gets separated.

The dolphins show up on their own schedule. Some days they're curious and come near the boat; other days they're further out and you see them breach in the distance.
