Your first stop is the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern revival of the ancient Library of Alexandria, where you walk through its collection and architecture. From there, the Citadel of Qaitbay (a fortress built on the site of the legendary Pharos Lighthouse) offers views across the Mediterranean and a chance for photos of the historic structure itself.

After the citadel, you visit the Mosque of Abu al-Abbas, known for its domes and minarets. Lunch follows at the Greek Yacht Club restaurant, where you eat Egyptian cuisine. The route then takes you on a drive along the Corniche before returning to your ship. Throughout the day, you travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with WiFi on board.
