The Experience

The boat leaves Latchi harbour and heads toward the Blue Lagoon, passing Lachi beach as the first landmark along the northwest Akamas. Once anchored at the lagoon, you stay for 2.5 hours — long enough to eat, swim and move around without feeling rushed. The round-trip travel time is 2 hours, so the full outing runs about 4.5 hours from start to finish.

If you book the wine tasting option, sommelier Gergana Nikolova works in the downstairs room on board, where you can visit her to learn the tasting technique and sample the wines. She curates only boutique selections from Cyprus — limited editions you won't find in supermarkets — across red, white and rosé. The BBQ happens at the lagoon, and the boat accommodates vegetarian and vegan diets if you mention it when you book.

Pickup from Paphos is available as an add-on option; otherwise you meet the boat at Latchi harbour. The guide speaks English, Russian and Greek. The trip runs as a public group, so you'll be with other travelers rather than a private party.
