A 4-hour private sailboat snorkeling experience from Pula's Marina Veruda where you co-create the itinerary with your skipper: choosing between snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing or anchoring in secluded Istrian bays near the Brijuni coast. The boat, skipper, snorkeling gear, SUP board, safety equipment and complimentary local drinks are all included. You bring only yourself and decide the day's rhythm.

The experience

You board a private sailboat at Marina Veruda and spend the first minutes with your English-speaking skipper going over what the day could hold. Want to spend most of the time in the water snorkeling? Anchor in one bay and stay put. Prefer to sail more and stop less? That works too. The skipper knows the secluded bays along Pula's coast and the waters near Brijuni, and he adjusts the route based on what you want and what conditions allow. This is not a fixed itinerary where everyone gets the same stops. It is a boat you have chartered, and the day belongs to you.

Once you reach the first anchorage, the water is yours. Snorkeling gear is on board and ready. Dive in whenever you want, stay as long as you want, and climb back up when you are done. If you want to try the stand-up paddleboard, it is there. If you want to float and listen to music through the onboard speaker, that is the day too. The skipper can capture moments with the GoPro camera if you want footage of what you saw underwater. Between swims, there are complimentary Istrian wine, Teranino liqueur, beer and soft drinks to enjoy while you rest in the sun or in the shade of the sail.

The return to Marina Veruda takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes under sail, giving you time to decompress before stepping back onto the dock. Everything that keeps the boat running (fuel, insurance, port fees) is already paid for, and all the safety gear stays on board.

Is the stand-up paddleboard hard to learn?

The SUP board is included, and your skipper can show you how to use it. Most people pick it up quickly in calm, shallow bay water. You can try it for a few minutes or spend longer on it. The choice is yours.

Do I need to know how to sail?

No sailing experience is needed. You are a passenger on a private boat with a professional skipper who handles all the sailing. Your job is to decide what you want to do during the day.
