The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Dubrovnik hotel in an air-conditioned coach. The drive into Bosnia and Herzegovina takes you through rugged, mountainous terrain (towering peaks, river valleys, and dense greenery) before you arrive at Mostar, the most important city of Hercegovina. After Mostar, the coach continues to Kravice Waterfalls, a series of cascading falls and pools set into lush forest and rocky cliffs. Unlike the more famous Plitvice Lakes, these waterfalls are smaller, less crowded, and easier to reach. You can swim in the crystal-clear water, walk the trails that wind through the surrounding meadows and dense forest, or simply sit and watch the water move.
