Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Tour: 12h with Turkish House Entry
Waterfalls, then the rebuilt bridge: a full day between coast and river valley
A 12-hour guided tour from your hotel takes you to the Kravice waterfalls, then to Mostar's old city, where you'll walk the oriental streets and see the famous Stari Most bridge rebuilt after the 1990s war. The tour includes entrance to the Turkish house museum, the most visited in the city, and a local guide for the Mostar portion. You'll need €13 cash per person for the waterfall entrance fee and tourist tax, and a valid passport or EU ID card to cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Experience
The day starts with a drive inland from the coast—about an hour—to reach the Kravice waterfalls, where the Neretva River drops in a series of cascades through lush vegetation and limestone cliffs. This is where the tour shifts from the Dalmatian shoreline to the river valley landscape. You'll have time to take in the scenery before heading back toward Mostar.
Once in Mostar, a local guide meets you to walk the old city on foot. The streets are narrow and layered with Ottoman architecture, and the centerpiece is the Stari Most—the arched stone bridge that was destroyed during the war and rebuilt in the early 2000s. The guide will show you the main monuments and the character of the place. Your entry to the Turkish house, a restored Ottoman-era dwelling that now functions as a museum, is included; it's the most visited museum in the city and gives a close look at how people lived in the region centuries ago.
The tour runs 12 hours total, which includes travel time, stops at both sites, and the guided portions. You'll be picked up from your hotel at a time you arrange in advance, and the bus makes brief stops only as traffic allows. Bring cash—cards are not accepted—and have your passport or national ID ready, since the tour crosses into Bosnia and Herzegovina. The group size depends on which option you book: small group up to 18, coach up to 48, or van up to 7 people.
What’s included

- English-speaking guide on the bus.
- local guide for the Mostar portion of the day.
- free entrance to the Turkish house museum.
- transport to both Kravice waterfalls and Mostar.

Is this one for you?Choose the small group or van option if you want a closer look at the guide's stories and the old city streets without rushing; the coach tour works better if you're traveling with others and want the lowest per-person cost. Either way, the 12-hour span lets you see both the inland waterfalls and the rebuilt bridge in one day, which would take much longer if you arranged transport and entry separately.

What exactly is the Kravice waterfalls and how much time do we spend there?
Kravice is a series of waterfalls on the Neretva River about an hour inland from the coast, known locally as a mini Niagara. The tour includes a visit to see the cascades and the river valley landscape, though the exact duration at the site depends on the group's pace and traffic on the drive back to Mostar.
Do I need a visa to go on this tour if I'm not from the EU?
Entry to Bosnia and Herzegovina requires a valid passport and, if applicable, a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa. EU citizens can use a national ID card instead of a passport. Check your visa requirements before booking, as they vary by nationality.
What's included in the price and what do I need to pay separately?
The tour includes hotel pickup, the English-speaking guide on the bus, the local guide in Mostar, and free entrance to the Turkish house museum. You'll need to bring €13 cash per person for the Kravice waterfall entrance fee (€10) and the tourist tax (€3); cards are not accepted.
How does the group size work and does it affect the experience?
You choose one of three options at checkout: a small group up to 18 people, a coach tour up to 48 people, or a van tour up to 7 people. The smaller groups move at a more intimate pace, while the larger coach option is more economical if you're flexible about group size.
What is the Stari Most and why is it famous?
Stari Most is Mostar's iconic arched stone bridge, built in the 16th century and destroyed during the 1990s war. It was rebuilt in the early 2000s and is now the symbol of the city's recovery. The local guide will explain its history and significance as you walk the old city.
