The experience

The drive from Dubrovnik crosses into Montenegro and arrives at Herceg Novi, a small fortified town sitting at the head of the Gulf of Kotor under the limestone cliffs of Mt. Lovćen. From there the route follows the Bay of Kotor itself (a deep fjord lined with old coastal settlements), and stops in Perast, an anchored piece of Venice that has floated down the Adriatic. The town sits a few kilometres from Kotor and lies close to the small islets of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks. The guide navigates the stops and the timing across the 10-hour day, so you move through three towns without building the route yourself.

Transportation is private throughout: you travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with a driver and a live guide speaking English or Spanish. The vehicle choice depends on your group size: a luxury Mercedes sedan for smaller parties, a luxury Mercedes van for up to eight people, or a shared group option.
