The canopy tour starts with a safety briefing and all the equipment you need (harness, helmet, gloves) before you clip into the lines. After the ziplining, you head to Rio Colorado for 1.5 hours of tubing down the river, moving at the water's pace through the foothills of the volcano. Lunch follows at a ranch, where you eat typical Costa Rican dishes.
The afternoon shifts to stillness: you soak in the natural hot springs and take a mud bath before the guide drives you back to your hotel. The whole day is eight hours from start to finish, with the guide and driver handling the logistics and transitions between sites.
