The experience

Emiliana is Chile's largest organic and biodynamic winery, and the tour starts in the vineyards where you walk among the grapevines and learn how the winery's regenerative farming practices build soil health and biodiversity alongside wine production. The guide explains the philosophy behind organic viticulture and how the ecosystem of the land shapes the grapes themselves.

Inside the winery, you move through the state-of-the-art facilities to watch the fermentation, aging, and blending processes that turn those grapes into finished wine. The tasting that follows covers three Emiliana wines (starting with a bright, citrus-forward Sauvignon Blanc and moving through to a velvety Syrah with dark fruit and spice) each one revealing how the Casablanca Valley's terroir expresses itself in the glass.

After the winery, the drive back to your hotel winds through the Maipo Valley's vineyards and rolling hills, then transitions into Valparaiso's urban landscape. A short walking tour of the city covers its history and art before you return. The whole outing runs seven to eight hours, with hotel pickup and drop-off included.
