The experience

The gondola leaves the base of Grouse Mountain and climbs 1,100 meters in under ten minutes. At the summit, the view opens up: Vancouver spreads below, the ocean stretches west, and on clear days the peaks stack into the distance. You can watch the lumberjack show, stand near the rescued grizzly bears in their enclosure, or just breathe the alpine air and let the height settle. From there, the group heads to Lynn Canyon Park, where a suspension bridge swings 50 meters above a canyon carved by rushing water.
