The Experience
The tour starts at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver and moves through the city's neighborhoods — the fashion district, past the 2010 Olympic Cauldron and Douglas Coupland's Digital Orca sculpture — before entering Stanley Park. At the Stanley Park Totem Poles and Hallelujah Point, you get views across Coal Harbour to the city skyline. The route then crosses the Lions Gate Bridge into North Vancouver.
At Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, skip-the-line tickets get you straight in. The bridge itself spans 230 feet above the Capilano River canyon through old-growth rainforest. You walk the Treetops Adventure among towering cedars and the Cliffwalk for views down the valley; the park's story centre and First Nations artwork collection are also included. The Trading Post gift shop is on-site if you want to pick up souvenirs.
The return route takes you through the West End and past English Bay to Granville Island Public Market, where there's a break for lunch — the market has food stalls, local artisans, and shops. From there, the tour continues through the sports district and Chinatown to Gastown, where the Steam Clock is the most photographed spot in the city, before finishing back at Canada Place. The coach bus has power points at every seat, an onboard washroom, and water bottles are provided throughout the day.
