Step-by-step itinerary
Seaplane flight and Capilano visit
- Board seaplane at downtown Vancouver
- Enjoy 20-minute scenic flight
- Walk to Canada Place shuttle pickup
- Shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
- Explore suspension bridge and treetop trails
- Return shuttle to Canada Place
The Experience
The tour begins at Seair Seaplanes' terminal in downtown Vancouver, where you board for a 20-minute scenic flight. The seaplane climbs over Coal Harbour with views of Stanley Park, the North Shore Mountains and the coastline. GPS-enabled commentary plays automatically as you fly, narrating the landmarks and local stories below. On return to the terminal, a short 5–10 minute walk brings you to Canada Place to meet the shuttle bus heading north to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
At the park, you cross the 137-metre suspension bridge on your own schedule, suspended above the Capilano River in old-growth rainforest. The bridge is the centrepiece, but the park also includes the Treetops Adventure—a series of smaller bridges and platforms woven through the canopy—and the Cliffwalk, a narrow path carved into the canyon wall. There's no guide narration here; you move at your own pace through the forest trails and decide how long to spend at each section.
After exploring, you board the return shuttle at the park for the ride back to Canada Place, where the tour ends. The full experience takes 4 to 6 hours depending on how much time you spend at the bridge and in the forest. The tour runs year-round, and infants can travel in a pram or stroller; service animals are welcome.
