The experience

The crawl starts inside Portside Pub at 8pm on Fridays. Your guides wear leopard print shirts so you can spot them in the crowd. You'll have time to settle in, grab a drink, and meet the other people who showed up before the group assembles and leaves together at 8:45pm. This first bar is where the night gets its footing: a historic Gastown spot with its own energy before you move on.

From there you hit a punk rock dive bar with a karaoke setup, then move to the Cambie, where the energy shifts completely: high-energy crowd, body shots, a packed dance floor, and a DJ. This is the last stop and where people tend to go all-in. Before that, you'll also visit a party bar with its own DJ. At each of the four bars, you get one free shot with any drink you buy. That's four shots across the night. The cover is handled at all venues, and you skip the lineups at two of the party bars, which cuts out the 45-minute wait you'd normally face.

The optional game is a bingo card with challenges and tasks scattered through the night: fake a marriage proposal, start a conga line, complete dares. If you finish them, you win boozy prizes.
