The Experience
The catamaran leaves from Píer do Centro in downtown Búzios and spends the morning moving between the peninsula's most sheltered diving spots. Between stops, you stay on deck watching the coastline pass — Canto Beach, Ossos, Azeda, Azedinha, and a string of smaller coves and islands including Caboclo Island and Branca Island. The boat itself does the work of getting you from one dive site to the next, so you're not spending energy on navigation or timing.
At João Fernandes Beach, the first stop runs 30 minutes and puts you in the Parque dos Corais (Coral Park), where the water is clear enough to see the reef structure and the fish moving through it. The second stop is at Moças Beach, tucked against Ilha Feia — a forested island that rises straight from the water — for another 30 minutes in the same kind of shallow, protected diving. Tartaruga Beach (Turtle Beach) is the final stop, also 30 minutes, and the water there stays calm enough that you can take your time looking around without fighting current or surge.
Hotel pickup from downtown Búzios is included, so you don't arrange transport to the pier. Masks and snorkels rent on the boat if you didn't bring your own; the same goes for food and drinks if you want to eat between dives. The whole tour runs three hours from boarding to return.

What's the water like for diving at these three beaches in Búzios?
João Fernandes Beach and Moças Beach (near Ilha Feia) both sit in the Coral Park area, where the water stays shallow and clear enough to see the reef and marine life without depth or strong current. Tartaruga Beach offers the same calm, protected conditions. All three are 30-minute stops, so you have time to move around without rushing.
Do I need to bring my own diving mask and snorkel?
Masks and snorkels are available to rent on the boat, so you can leave yours at home if you prefer. The rental happens at boarding.
Is lunch included, or do I need to bring food?
Food and drinks are available for purchase on the boat, but nothing is included in the tour price. You can bring your own or buy from the onboard options between dives.
How does the hotel pickup work?
Hotel pickup from downtown Búzios is included and gets you to the Píer do Centro (Downtown Pier) before boarding. The catamaran departs from there, and you return to the same pier at the end of the three-hour tour.
Can I skip one of the diving stops if I don't want to dive the whole time?
The tour includes three scheduled 30-minute stops at João Fernandes, Moças Beach (Ilha Feia), and Tartaruga Beach. You choose whether to enter the water at each stop, but the catamaran stays at each location for the full 30 minutes whether you dive or stay on deck.
