The experience

The tour starts at your hotel in Búzios with pickup and an air-conditioned vehicle. First comes a panoramic drive to Mirante de João Fernandes and Praia de João Fernandinho, where you stop to take in the views. Then you board for the boat portion, which runs 2.5 hours and passes Praia da Azeda, Azedinha, Praia de João Fernandes, João Fernandinho and Praia do Canto, with a 10-minute stop at Praia do Forno. The boat lets you see the coastline and the water up close without the drive between each beach.

After the boat returns, the tour shifts to land. You walk the Orla Bardot, the waterfront promenade named after the actress, and stop at the Monumento Brigitte Bardot, the Monumento Três Pescadores and the Monumento Juscelino Kubitschek. A visit to Centro Gastronômico Porto da Barra and stops at Praia da Ferradura and Praia de Geribá round out the sightseeing. Lunch is included during the tour.
