The experience

The day starts at 8am with pickup from your Da Nang hotel. The cable car gains elevation through five stations on the way up Ba Na range, stopping first at By Night station to see Vong Nguyet hills, the Old Villas of French, and Linh Ung pagoda before continuing to Nui Chua Mountain at the top. At the summit you walk the Golden Bridge (a pedestrian span cradled by two giant stone hands), and look out over the foggy hills and Da Nang city below. The route also passes through an old French cellar, Le Jardin D'amour flower garden, Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas and an Orchid Garden. A hill-climbing train moves between some of these stops.

Lunch is a buffet at a restaurant on the mountain. The afternoon is yours: spend two hours in Fantasy Park, Vietnam's third-largest indoor games zone with 4D and 5D films, racing simulators and a dinosaur park, or wander the French village at your own pace. On the way back down to Da Nang around 3pm, the tour stops at Central Specialties Super Market for shopping, then returns you to your hotel by late afternoon.
